I got your letter of the 23th last night it found me as
usual this is the first day of march the wind blows from the north & it is
pleasant the mud is most all dried up you speak of this being the last time that
you will direct to this Camp I have thought so for some time past but do not now
we had orders to pack all extra blanket & did so also to have three days
rations coocked & evry thing was ready to start
but ur was domed
to disapointment the order was countermanded & probaly we shall not move
very soon we have got the box evry thing come very wise the stan I made &
the ring the pay that is cloted is for the hole time that I am in the [ ] I think of nothing more at this time so good
