I have but a moment to write as we are about to move again. I received your letters of the 20th & 30th and should have answered before this but we have been very busy about one thing and another, and this is the first mail that we have had to go out besides. There are lots of things to tell you but I have not time to tell them now. I am at the Div Hospital in charge yet, and rather a pleasant place too. I have more work to do but it is of a more scientific character.

I have just heard this moment that I am to have a commision for the Vt Cavalry, dont know yet, I am well.
