Roswell Farnham to Mary [Farnham]
Primary tabs
I take time to write you a line this morning to let you know that we have not yet started, but shall probably go by tomorrow - where I do not yet know - I was lonesome enough last night & yesterday afternoon. I have not felt so blue since I left home. I was glad to hear from the Adjt. that you got on board the cars so nicely & hope you reached the Scott House without difficulty & are well this morning.
I have no idea where we shall go but will write you every morning until I hear from you. Write me every day at present, direct as usual, & tell me how to direct to you.
Remember me to all the ladies & tell that we all miss them very much. Our table is quite lonesome.
I will write more when I do not feel in quite so much of a hurry.
Yours affectionatelyRoswell Farnham
