We arrived here at 4 oc yesterday P.M. after a very tiresome ride We marched up on to the Camp ground and got our tents and pitched them and all slept there last night It rained all night but we did not get wet much as we have the best of tents. I feel tip top and all the men are in fine spirits, I told A. B. Jewett to have a bbl of flour sent up to the house as soon as he got home. I hope you will be in good spirits and get along well I have not time to write more now. Kiss the children and tell them that I shall be home in about one week
