I was much pleased to get your letter and to hear a bout yourself and all the
rest of the folks down there I recieved Mrs Tracy's letter this morning she
wrote that you were having a plenty of snow but we are having an a bundance
here. I go out Snow shoeing once in a while and also sleighing in
fact I do most every day that I am able to. My sister went back to Island Pond
to commence school to day. My Papa got all ready to go South but changed his
mind and is not going till next Sep. Katie I can easily
guess what kind of a skirmish you had electing your advisory committee but Kate
if I were you I would not have Miss Perry run the class I would just set up and
oppose [her] is Miss Woodward, Austin
and Baker in
school this term also is Cora Allen and Miss George back? Kate you must tell me
who each of the "girls wait on for boys" I mean tell me all the smashes the
girls make What is that girls that is boarding at Mrs Tracy's Is
Gura as sweet and loveable as

arrangement they had before. Well Katie I must close as Papa is going to the
