I think it is due time that I answered your letter. I have looked all the week
for that paper you said you would send but have not seen anything of it. We are
all well and hope you are the same I go to school to Miss Carrol town meeting
day she spoke very well of your school. But she said that Jeffersonville had a
very poor school. I study History Reading Arithmetic Spelling Geography
and Grammar. we have 20 scholars and [some] Miss Carrol said
had not come Send me that paper Sat night. News is scarce.

I cant spend much time with you to night for I am too sleepy, there [is] no fret about paper for Carrie got quite a bunch down to the Boro this week; finished my dress to night have cut and basted your cloak but dare not make it untill you try it on for it seems large for me
