Katherine Fletcher to Carrie Fletcher, 1887 March 5
Primary tabs
Yours was received this noon. Have not any news but will write as you are in such
a rush for some paper. The reason I did not send it is that I expected to have
some money that I might pay Mr. Holmes and then could get you some: but as I
cannot do that, will send you
all I can of my own. I have studied all
day so that my head fairly swims to night. I have had more time to-day than
usual for I did my washing last night after six-o'clock. Don't you think I am
getting industrious?
You may tell my dear mamma that she need not worry about my cloak but when I come home we will do what we can on it.
Nothing more, only when you get out of paper, write.
Lovingly your SisterKate.
