I was glad to get such a long letter from you I hope you enjoy yourself as much
as you did last term have you heard from [Mamie] yet. I have
had two headmarks we write in the forenoon and spell in the floor in the
afternoon. I like to spell in the floor the best we are in Reductions in
Arithmetic Grammar is hard the way we half to do but I learn more then ever I
take my spelling
book home every night so I dont half to study so much
at school Miss Carrol has been to school once she went some where this morning
she started aboat 8 aclock Mamma and I got the work done up last Sunday to come
up and see you but it rained dreadfully and we were glad we dident
starte had not started I must close so good bye
