Again am I seated to hold a silent conversation with Katie; as usual the
remaining members of this family have retired, I have finished my rug this week
and to day have riped and washed my brown dress and will try to get out a dress
and sack for Carrie, she has a dreadfull cough but I think it is a distemper for
there are so many that are troubled the same way Papa has been getting in
logs
for Joel Wilcox; has drawn to the amount of about $20. he
bought the boys some Rubber boots, which made them quite happy you can judge
I guess we never shall have sugaring; have tapped about 90 trees, might just as well have done it last fall I suppose you would like some money, so I will send you a dollar, I have not kept any acct of what you have had this term, My pen and ink are both so poor I can hardly make a mark so I will say
