I went to the Depot yesterday and thought certainly I should find some maple
there but was sadly disappointed however.. I wrote you two weeks ago to day
requesting you to send 1500# and a small Tubs I also sent in the
same letter a Draft to Henrietta for the Ball due her It is time I should hear
wheather you have received it or not.. If you have not shiped that sugar do not
send more that 1000# and send as near that as you can figure as on the last
shipment I paid freight on One Thousand lbs at the rate of 46 cts pr [ ]
I shiped you a fue days previous
120 Bunches of matches a 10c pr Bunch Did you get them It is geting so late that
most of my patrons have become uneasy and impatient waiting for sugar and have
been supplied by some one else I cannot do anything with Butter Tubs as it costs
to much to transport them and our tubs are selling here for 50c wholesale and
48c retail that hold 75 lbs If you can send a box of cakes of 100 or 125# that
will cost not more than 12 1/2 or 13c delivered at Georgia you may send it along
cant you get a Box of [ ] Dont buy any more of
Bukers Tar and charcoal it was a poor lot.. I send you a
statement of sales and check for amt due you Is Edward with you we've not heard
from
him since I came from there has he done anything about
sending the Lounge & chair speak to him about it as we want or would like
them soon as possible I do not know wheather Ed is with you or not so I do not
know where to find him Write as soon as you get this and oblige
