I Rec your kind letter Came to hand I was glad to hear from you It is pretty exciting times here now their is not much trade all is military just now I think that I shall be at home Thanksgiving or New Years Cant tell which
I should like to take a peep into fathers home just now and see you All but can not I am contented where I am have a splendid place to work and not very hard Mr Armington is a going to Canada tomorrow so I shall have easy thing to see to
I am afraid the town will be burned before next spring for they threaten it in Canada If so I shall go to some other place
