I once more am permited through the goodness of God of to write you though I have not had answer from one that I wrote
you but this while steping aside with Brother [C S][ ][a few] rods from camp to pray and to call on god
to bless us and to sustain us in these trying times and truly it is a
consolation to me to join in with him he is a young man that is
immensely loved by the company and
he
[ ] is one the finest
young man that we have he has the respect of the he has been
Corp his health is good now my praer is that he may be
kept by the power of the Gospel and that he may be permited to return to his
home and friends and that these even of these among us at home that we may have
his the benefit of his christian
and that his influence that is [ ] here may be the means of leading many of his
young to Dear and Sister
it would be very hard for me to stay here and lave any enjoyment if it it not for the consolation
of that that leads us in to all truth may God help
you that I may have the strength of your that I may live so
that if I am not permited to meet you on earth that I may in heaven O judge of
the feelings of your unworthy Brother in the
death of Dear Brother Elias [away] from his
friends no more to sympathize with him in the loss of that Brother that was so
near to me by the ties of nature but the subject is to painful for me and in the
confidence that he is in the enjoyment of an everlasting happiness Such as my
Dear Brother and Sister [ ] could not have
realised to him on earth I
hope that i shall support my spirits both
for my own sake and my sake and look forward to that to
brighter and happier world in we shall go to those who cannot
return to us
God comfort you my Dear Brother and Sister from your affectionate and sorrowing BrotherEnos
