My dear Sir:
I
have written to-day to
our Governor that I think
it would be
well for him to see to it that a
"Fuller
Military Hall" was established at Bur-
lington.
It was
suggested to me that
I should leave for your
Library the
Ms of my address, if it was in my
hand writing. I did not think it
worth while to do so, as my
hand
writing is not at present a curiosity,
and no antiquarian will be likely to
look it up a hundred years hence. Yet,
if any of the boys want it, they can have
it as it will be of no further use to
me, and my heirs could not sell it
for sixpence.
