Note [Physical Description]: Layout: Written in two columns of 63 lines, below top line; ruled with dry point. Decoration: Running heads, chapter initials, and marginal chapter numerals in alternating blue and red. Initial flourishes form left borders of columns.

Note [Script]: Written in Gothic Textualis ("Rotunda") script, with high ascenders in the top line, showing influence from Italian notarial style. An entire verse was omitted, probably following a faulty copy. The proofreader, who was probably following a University exemplar, wrote the verse at the bottom edge of the page for a book scribe to insert in the margin near its proper place at line 54, column 1 on the verso.
