N.Y.Aug 9th. 1862My dear Aunt.

I write myself of the opportunity to send by Mr Bingham the photographs of Harrison, & also the Dangerreotype from which they were taken. Those in uniform being taken on [      ] - in the Dangerreotype dont copy so will on the others.

The operator told me they were the best he could take under the circumstances. Am sorry they are not better. There is no expense attending them, I send you one of myself.
