I received you letter tonight. I & Miss B. went to the station to meet
you I was disapointed some. Mamma and baby are smart as could be expected Papa
went and got Mrs Wakefeld to day she has come she says & everybody that
has seen the baby says they never saw such a large baby Oh!
it is so
fat its hair is almost black A Smith Gramma F will say, I did not go to school
to day most everybody has been here to help very kind dont you think so? you
need not worry about our nameing the baby. Ray thinks & Rhett also that
Mrs Henry Griswold brought the baby I miss you ever so much now. Wish I could see you Did you know Mrs Kinsley had got the
dropsy how I pity Ethel and Edie. After I sent
that letter this
morning I could not help but laught I was all excited & so I could not
write I cant hardly now but you can try and read this. write often Now Katie,
for I am always thinking of you
