I wrote you a few days ago telling you about my back I am quite incouraged about it, the sore has not bled any for a number of days the swelling is a little diminished but quite large yet B has been quite sick with a cold for the last week, to day he is out we have not herd a word from you in a long time I wish you would both write us on receipt of this

we have a laday teaching our school this winter she boards with Mother I see mother is going down she has not been here but once this winter she wants you to kiss the babe for her she wishes to be remembered to all I must close;
