A small committee met on September 26
to begin planning Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual
Pride day for 1993. Outreach is hap-
pening now to form an ongoing com-
mittee inclusive of the many aspects of
our lives.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of
this event and organizers are planning a
major splash-complete with costumes,
floats, music and partying. The celebra-
tion will be in Burlington this year on a
weekend in the end of June. The date
will be finalized soon... so watch for it.
We want to plan early this year.

Some ideas to come out of our initial
meeting were:

We want this to be fun.

Let’s come into our own this year and
match the big city parades for out-
rageousness, numbers, and style.

Let’s have fun fundraising events state-
wide to generate statewide interest.

Let’s help subsidize transportation for ar-
eas far from Burlington.
