Colleges/Universities Marlboro College Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual Group The Marlboro College Gay/Lesbian/ Bisexual Group, newly organized last Oc- tober, is open for the college community in two ways. Friday afternoon teas, with dis- cussion of any and all issues concerning homosexuals, bisexuals, or people unsure of their sexual preference, are open to all members of the college community, re- gardless of sexual preference. Tuesday evening meetings are closed to the public at large to ensure the confidentiality of homo- sexual and bisexual students. These meet- ings serve as a resource for people unsure, afraid, or not wishing to reveal their sexual identity to the larger campus. For more information contact The Marlboro College Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual Group c/o Marlboro College, Marlboro, VT 05344. Middlebury Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual Alliance Middlebury Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual Alliance (MGLBA) has, in the past, been primarily a political and “out” organiza- tion. This is still our primary focus, since there is still much consciousness-raising to be done at Middlebury College. We feel that there is also a need to provide a “safe place” where lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, and those unsure of their sexual orientation- can come and talk about issues ranging from coming out to gay and lesbian history and herstory. We hold regular business meetings every other week, and discussion meetings on the off weeks. MGBLA works to show gay/lesbian/bisexual films twice every school year, to bring speakers to campus, and to sponsor special events re- lating to the gay/lesbian/bisexual experi- ence at Middlebury. Contact MGBLA at Drawer 8, Mid- dlebury College, Middlebury, VT 05753 or (802) 388-3711.
