Burlington's Uncommon Ground on
Church Street (the latest gay place to see
and be seen).

Best Gay Social Event:

VCLGR's Creating Change/Community
Conference (the largest gay social and
political event in Vermont history).

Worst Social Event:
Tea Dances in Vermont (just ask the

twelve guys who go).

Best Social Organization:

Vermont Gay Social Alternatives (VGSA).

Honorable mention:

Women of the Woods (WOW) (I don't
know a thing about them or what they do
but I love the name).

Best Places for Sun:
The Huntington Gorge & Shelbume Point.

 

Worst Beach:

North Beach (can you say fecal coliform'?).

University Mall (This End Up
Furniture--need I say more?)

Best Store for Gay Wear:
Stowe Trading Post (bring the plastic).

stuff. however what is a single gay guy
going to do with 5 gallons of orange juice

Best Health Care Providers:
Women's Choice for girls and UHC's Dr.
Alan Rubin for boys.

Best Movie Theater:
The Savoy in Montpelier.

Best Fashion Trend:
Teva Sandals (although they do not go
with everything these things are great).

Worst Fashion Trend:
