books from gay publisher Alyson Publica-
tions, has two new books about children
with lesbian and gay parents out this sum-
mer. Anna Day and the 0-Ring, by Elaine
Wickens, is the story of a 4 year old boy,
his dog, and his two moms. When a key

Both these titles passed the true test. My
sons ages 3 and 6, asked for them every
night at bedtime for a week. The 3 year old
was especially enchanted by Anna Day
and poured over the photographs and the
