There will be a public meeting between
members of the Burlington Police Department
and members of the Burlington ‘
Lesbian, Gay and Bi—sexual Community

Moderator: Howard “Howdy” Russell

The purpose’ of this meeting is to create dialogue
and foster a positive relationship between the
police and our community. This will be our
opportunity to meet the cops, to let them know
who we are and what are needs are regarding law
enforcement. The police have initiated this
contact because they want to serve us more
effectively. (See April’s Out in the Mountains for
detail.) They also want us to know who they are
as human beings and as professionals.
