1. Contact your legislator - in person or in
writing - and express your support for the
bill (see the list of legislators below).

2. Participate in the telephone calling
campaign. Two weekends, probably in
early February, will be designated as “call-
your-legislator-weekends.” In order to
match the effectiveness of the fundamen-
talists, we need widespread participation.

3. Let the members of the Senate Judiciary
Committee know you support the bill. The

Saturday, January 9, Rutland rallied
behind S.278, the bill to protect lesbians
and gay men against discrimination, at a
dance called Footnotes: Write and Boogie
for Your Rights. Price of admission—a
letter written to a VT senator in support of
S.278.

The dance was sponsored by Rutland Area
Gay and Lesbian Task Force. Keep up the
good work!
