Downpour to Drizzle, We Danced

Dragons, drums, and dancing, oh my! From Outright's dragon
puppet to the Queer Liberation Army, from ‘Lesbian’ Richard
’ Kemp, to the Veterans for Peace, from Republican Dan Stewart

from churches bearing banners to Uhaul-driving dykes, there _. 5
. was a diverse parade of queers and allies marching, dancing,
and singing in the rain on Vermont's Pride Day July 9. The 300-
400 stalwart (and raincoated) souls who showed up in a rain
that veered from drizzle to downpour didn't“let it faze them
when it came to honoring our history and celebrating our ioy. V
