Description: 1927. Foot traffic alone was allowed on this temporary pontoon Winooski Bridge following the November 1927 flood of the Winooski River. Bridge was built and maintained with the help of troops from Fort Ethan Allen. Permanent bridge built in 1928. Champlain Mill in the background.
