Description: November 21, 1928. University Place looking north from Main Street at intersection of Williston Road. Note the new improvements consisting of integral curb and gutters, pavement consisting of a 6" concrete base with 2" asphalt top, also new ornamental lighting on street. The University of Vermont green is to the left. Old Mill is center right and to the extreme right is the Gymnasium (later to become Royall Tyler Theatre). Elm trees line the street.
