Original caption reads: "Barrett Street Improvement: This view shows Barrett Street looking easterly from the intersection of Colchester Avenue after the construction of the new integral curbs and gutters and sidewalk; also note the regrading of grass area on the shoulder at the right and the surfacing of the old stone basement wall with reinforced concrete under the veranda of the Pichierri apartment house at the left; also note the installation of new electric light and power pole line back of the curb on the southerly side of the street.
