This view is taken on the centerline of the proposed new diagonal runway at its northwesterly terminus where it intersects with the westerly boundary of the north-south landing area. The obstruction light pole in the center-foreground of the picture is approximately on the centerline of the proposed runway. The hard surface shown crossing the picture is the northerly end of the north-south runway.
